The setting of Mixture Eatery is enough to get you in the door; with it’s cool paired back industrial decor and numerous plants adding welcome touches of greenery to space. Prepare yourself for a dizzying array of mouth-watering cabinet food… think Banooffe pie muffin, sweet slices and savoury pies. They serve up an excellent breakfast and lunch menu too, which is sure to satisfy just about every craving. Yum!

3. Eightyeight Cafe
First things first – Eightyeight’s coffee is a fine drop indeed. Creamy and super hot, it goes down a treat. A delicious spot to perch for brunch and enjoy the laid back atmosphere. Expect hearty meals and an array of seriously indulgent baked goods. Don’t leave without trying the afghans and date scones!

4. Heath Street Eatery
Everything in Heath Street Eatery’s cabinet is made fresh daily and their brunch menu is designed around seasonal locally supplied produce. There are some awesome vegetarian and gluten-free options available such as their vegetable and halloumi frittata or pumpkin, cashew and feta fritter – say no more! Organic Allpress coffee is also always well received.

5. Hide – Thirst & Hunger
Central to Hide is a sun-drenched courtyard that offers the perfect respite for lazy long lunches by day and transforms into cool evenings by the open wood fire by night – when the music also gets bumped up a notch! There’s something to please everyone on this excellent menu – from oysters to dumplings, to cheeseboards, burgers and even a dessert pizza (need we say more?!). The ‘Thirst’ element of Hide presents itself in the form of a full range of tap beers as well as an extensive wine list and cocktails.
