It’s no surprise the adventure capital of New Zealand boasts some of the most spectacular mountain biking trails. One of the best places for mountain biking is the Rude Rock Track,  which is probably better described as alpine biking rather than traditional mountain biking.

Having opened in 2013, it’s quickly become one of the most popular destinations for riding, definitely in part due to it’s jaw-dropping views of Lake Wakatipu and the greater Queenstown region – which are hard to beat! You’ll find the track located on the Coronet Peak Access Road.
