For the best quick bite, head to Pauanui Takeaways. Serving some of the freshest seafood in the Coromandel, their catch of the day and mussel fritters won’t disappoint. They offer some deliciously different takes with sliders and burgers that are definitely share worthy. Don’t let the long lines deceive you, their friendly service tends to move quick!

This adorable Pauanui restaurant is a lovely place to share a meal or a drink for brunch or dinner. While you can’t really make a wrong choice, their menu is fresh, tasty and exciting, highlights include their poke bowl that’s topped with some of the most delicious avocado cream in the country and a wonderful classic pavlova dessert dish. They use fresh produce, make organic coffee and sell NZ made craft beer. Nice.
